Need help with valuation. I know the rules. No parts here.
I'm not trying to sell.
But I'd like to be able to find the value.. roughly of a nos part I have.
When I got it... 10 -15 years ago...
New In package.
I got it in a trade.
As the last know in existence, from the manufacrure, as new in package still.
I've searched ebay.... here... google...
The brand will come up. But the part..
I am not selling.. I'd just really like to know what it's somewhat worth.
So.. how do..... the pros here, go about putting a value on a small part that seems to be pretty nonexistent?
Thanks

Without comparables it’s pretty tough to determine value aside from seeing what it sells for at auction on EBay
Perron Thurston (Perront) 1973-2023. Aaron De La Montanya (Tentoesover) 1969-2023.

Totally agree on Ebay listings, and I believe the sold price on the BMX museum listing may be "questionable" as to an accurate value of the JP item.
We all see values fluctuate on here and Ebay. Condition is major factor as NOS typically demands higher values.

Yea, I am sorry. I didn't update this.
I was shown 1 by stovepipe.
It was comparable.
But I believe that's the only 1 I've ever seen
Yes. It is a JP sprocket.
Thank you all.. for checking in.

I had seen the reference section.
Just didn't really help me. But you did... with my less than substandard search abilities.

Yes.. and you helped me... I am not selling it.. just had a mild curiosity. I just couldn't find any others to compare... and only seeing 1 sold on the museum... in the past 10 15 years.. can certainly change its value to some.
But it's back in its home.. tucked away...
If I could ever afford to build a newer Model Auburn... with all JP parts.
Hubs.. Stem... pedals.. tensioner.. and whatever else... I'd rip it open.. bit I cant... so... back in the big ole metal storage cabinet it goes.
