Does the "For Sale" section get a lot of views from non-members?
Thinking of selling a bike but wondering if the forum gets more views than Ebay or Facebook.

i would imagine fb and ebay get way more views but more potential for dealing with a scammer on fb id wager

If it were me I'd post it here first. Then the others as a second option but still leaving it posted here.

As an active buyer I look here first. Easier to negotiate and potentially more money goes to the buyer which can translate into better price.

Your chances of getting scammed increase exponentially with book face or any social media.

I would never sell a complete or any valuable component on eBay...to many flakes and eBay is going to side with the buyer. Don't really like to buy from there anymore either.
See several threads here about fb listings...
The museum is the way to go imo
Craigslist maybe

I've had better luck posting in swap meet than for sale. Swap seems to get more hits because your item doesn't just get buried within 30 mins or posting it

Museum selling fee on a $1,000 sale is just the $25 member fee. E bay fee would be near $200. Facebook is free but because it’s free there are a lot more tire kickin weirdos to deal with.
My bike did not survive childhood in usable condition.

Re: Does the "For Sale" section get a lot of views from non-members?
Who wants views? I want sales! I can answer this question though because when things don't sell here I add it to Ebay. Stuff always sells better there and here's what I don't get.....for more money. But then I have to pay darn nearly 15% to Ebay so I lose. What's wrong with people not looking here? I feel like GAry needs to advertise on Ebay.
